Artwork Requirements
Just about any image format can be printed digitally; Gif, Jpeg, Photographs, scans, etc, as well as all the standard (Illustrator, Photoshop, eps) formats.

The thing to be most aware of is that "what you see is what you get." If you have a poor resolution color image, and you increase the size to fill the shirt, the resolution quality will get lower as the image gets bigger.

In other words, if the print at full size looks bad printed on your laser printer, then it will look as bad when printed on the t-shirt.

While color separations are not necessary with digital printing, the need for good quality original artwork is the same.

Ink Jet Printing

Say goodbye to transfers! Available Immediately is Direct Digital imprinting on light colored shirts.

It was only a matter of time before ink-jet technology and printing dyes caught up with the T-Shirt. The future has finally arrived!

This technology is best suited for short-run multi-color designs on light garments. It is a perfect solution for when you need from 6 to 72 shirts with complex graphics.

The process is slow and cumbersome compared to screenprinting. Inkjets printers are considerably slower than the swipe of a squeegee blade. Plus, the ink must be "set" using a transfer press, the same as with regular transfers, so there is no time-savings at all. These shirts cost more as a result (generally around $15.00) but the combination of quality, durability, and short runs is irresistable.
